Passionate Moments – Part I

Hi all readers and this is my first post in here. Well I am Krishna of around
30 years, happily married for 2 years now. All through my studies till
Graduation, I was one of those rare breeds with interests in soccer, badminton,
chess (till school days), pools and snookers (during graduation and post
graduation), travelling alone long distances but no mention of girls et all
till my post graduation.

As it has no respect in it nowadays though it is very
respectable profession rather than sitting idle, I started taking home tutions
as part time and was earning a decent 30K per month. Then one day one of my
friends’ brother asked me to try Recruiting as a profession. Hence without much
thought I got into it. It was staffing company situated in posh area in Banjara
Hills, Hyderabad. It was my day of joining.

As soon as I came out of the lift, I saw a bunch of people
smoking, drinking (soft drinks) and chatting away. One of them called Peter
called me by my name and introduced me to all the team members with whom I was
goin to work. Later I asked him how he came to know about me. Kishore (my frnd)
who introduced me in here told about me all. As I was getting introduced, I
noticed that almost 40% of the employees were ladies working during the night
for US/EU/Japanese clients.

In all professional way, I was introduced to all the people
working there and I was asked to wait in the conference. As told I was waiting
in the conference hall not known for what? Suddenly a lady dropped in
introducing herself as Meena, the Manager L and D (Learning and Development)
Specialist and I too introduced myself to her. Then she went on giving the
presentations on the company and its operations. Over the course of the
presentation, I was at time looking at her.

again. Then she said if you go on failing like this then second time itself you
will be out of the company. That gave me a punch. He he he and she giggled and
went away.
I finished it in 10 mins and went out to look for her. She was at her place and

She did not notice me and she was busy in her laptop. I bent
a little and found that she was downloading a movie. The movie got downloaded

mins. In that discussion, I asked where she stays. She replied saying
Kukatpally. I asked about her family. She said she is alone here and stays in a
hostel. Her parents have broken up 10 yrs back. I said sorry. After some more
discussions, the first day was over and she got a call from the travel desk
that her cab was ready.

She bid bye and said see you tomorrow. Then I went to Peter
told him of the day’s happenings. He replied saying you can also leave now.
This training would continue for another 3 days. I bid him good bye and all
others and left at the recepetion, I was guided by the travel desk guy to my
cab. He guided me to the same cab in which Meena was there. We exchanged
greetings and she asked where I stay. I replied Kukatpally. 2 people were
sitting in the front seat beside the driver and 4 were at the back.

I was beside Meena. Had not other option but to stick to her
sit as the other 2 were of good built. I smiled and said sorry. She said its
ok. She asked where in KKP (Kukatpally). We were just talking about the office,
its environment and all. Our stop came and we got down of the cab. The cab
left. There was a tea stall there and prepares good tea. I asked her if she

I said with one other friend who is now away on his project
to Japan for 9 months. We took the lift and I dropped at 2nd floor and bid
adieu to each other. I slept till 12 PM and got ready to go out for a lunch. I
took my bike and came till KPHB in search of a good restaurant. I went in and
ordered myself some light food. I got my food in 10 mins and busy eating the
same. I saw somebody standing near my seat looking for a seat to which I did
not bother as the whole of restaurant was packed with customers.

Then suddenly I heard Meena wishing me Good afternoon and I
said how come you are here. She said she daily has her lunch here itself. I
